Now I know I'm not the best player out there but I thought I was at least decent. However now that I have SF and have played a few of the Night Maps I am finding it incredibly difficult to see or do anything. Not only am I running into shit all the time with vehicles but I find myself fumbling with Night Vision trying to turn it off and on. Now I discovered that remapping my "7" key for Night Vision to the "`" key seems to help but damn it's hard. I guess this isn't really a complaint as much as me venting about how difficult I find the Night Maps. Having a squad cover movements and guarding areas in multiple directions is a must. Any kind of lonewolf hero stuff just gets you killed unless you are just lucky enough to bypass everyone to an unoccupied flag.

Bonus Bitch: BTW... I still hate the Knife Badge still. Damn I'm unlucky. Suckage.

on my mouse i can push the scroll whell from left to right and use it as buttons so i got the night vision set to come on when push wheel to right and its very easy now, but i hear ya i hated it when it was the 7 key....i dont like the night maps much anyway.

I've played a few night maps where there's only a few of us on, not enough to get a proper game going, but enough to work out some strategies... My main strategy is, I die . I like the night maps now I've got them to run properly, and yep, remapping the 7 is the best thing to do as I do tend to look around the keyboard too much and end up counting 15.. 14.. 13.. .

The knife badge thing.... I add that to my pistol badge thing, the two badges I'm most unlikely to get

First I had troubles with the night maps. But after some practice I found myself better on the night maps ROFL. The key is move less, sigh more. Only snipers keep bothering you. Try to hook up on the roof , move on the roofs. I mean stay above. So probably you will spot enemy faster than he will spot you.

Heh, on the left hand side of the island with the big hill, leading up to the second spawn on that bit, theres a staircase that leads downward. I got loads of kills simply by lying prone and capping anyone whose head appeared above the top of the staircase

Switching to the NVG is never a big deal for me, I just hit "7" when I spawn and I guarantee you I'll be dead before the battery

I haven't found much need to switch them off yet, even though logic dictates it, people still hide in dark corners (where you're a juicy target to NVG people) and just can't seem to make themselves lay down out in the middle of the street under the lamp (where you're actually hidden to 95% of the people on the map).

Once the general populace learns this i'll be screwed

The same tactic as me... but, they're on to us already
