-Learn not to panic when running into someone. Relax, you're playing for fun. No need to be wound up by the pressure
-Since you find it difficult to shoot and move, don't. You might be easier to kill when stationary, but if you dodge like dickens but can't hit anything, you're only delaying the inevitable.
-Avoid the m16 or other burst only weapons. Automatic ones are abit more newb friendly so perhaps more suited for you.
-You may wish to crouch instead of going prone when shooting since it still gives acceptable accuracy at close range, but without the movement limitations of proning. No need to use iron sights for close range either. Be aware of recoil tho and control your shots.
-If bunnyhopping or prone spamming opponents at close range are giving you trouble, try using a support gun instead. The crouch/shoot works just as well for LMGs, perhaps better since being proned seem to make it harder to hit jumping opponents than if your were crouched instead. Likewise against pronespammers. I prefer not to use PKM cos the rpm is abit low (RPK is teh shit when it come to owning. I use it all the time whenever i can). Aim for the head if you are confident, otherwise bodyshots should be ok against most average opponents.
-prone as per usual when shooting at mid to long range.
-practice, practice, practice. Perhaps with a buddy even to help the get into the sparring atmosphere.
