Ok, so now what?

K, I did this:

Manually uninstalled BF2 and deleted all the registry files that are associated with it.
Ran CCleaner again to remove any unwanted stuff.

Now is this what I should do to get 1.3 to work?

Re-install BF2.
Reboot computer.
Install 1.22 full patch (see if it works)
Reboot computer.
Install 1.3 incremental
Reboot computer.
Try BF2.

Or am I doing this wrong? I'm sorry for making a seocnd post, but I really need to get this fixed.

My Gfx card drivers are up to date, everything works fine. I can install BF2 and play just fine, but when I go to install the 1.3 patch, it messes up.

Here's what I'd say.

Re-install.
Re-boot.
Full Patch.
Play.

I've heard of too many problems with 1.3 incremental.

But if you have free time, you can try it.

I've tried what you said twice, it keeps saying patching failed.

It gets to the mods/bf2/Objects_client.zip and patches the file up to 22% (8% overall) and then it quits.

Then patch each one individually.

Just kidding. If you can't do 1.3 full, go to 1.22 and then incremental up.

They say to download it from EA Downloader, which I will try.

So:

Install BF2
Reboot computer
Download EA Downloader and install 1.3 patch
Reboot computer
BF2 should work.

No they are saved at a server that EA runs(all stats are saved there)

So maybe thats the issue, when I uninstalled, I didn't delete the profiles.

LOTS of people had problems with the 1.3 incremental ... I mean LOTS ... so, it would be the rare person who would recommend that you use the 1.3 incremental
