ive heard that you can only have ultra-high sound quality enabled when you have a creative x-fi card. I have a creative soundblaster audigy2zs platinum pro, and i know my card is capable of playing bf2 with ultra high sound, so does anyone out there know if there is a way into tricking battlefield 2 into letting you play with ultra high sounds enabled without having to buy an x-fi card?

No cause if your card was able to play on ultra high sounds dont you thing it would let you?
it just has it red, im sure its just a marketing ploy to get you to buy a 500$ sound card
LOL yea probs
Err... I didn't pay near that much for mine.. I paid like 120...If you must have it (trust me on this one, going from
high to ultra makes a difference...I first noticed it when my silenced pistol shots started sounding A LOT crisper and cleaner...), get the cheap one, the "xtremusic"(not sure on spelling). Just make sure you set it to game mode before you play, otherwise bf2 doesn't think it's an X-fi and you can't play on ultra.
