ok, this is a general question that I'm looking to be answered. I have not seen it personally, but several members of my clan asked me about it and now I'm curious. Ive searched here and online and I can't seem to find anything about it.

Ok, is there a hack out there that will allow you to turn the flag extra fast? It doesn't seem possible to me because wouldn't that be server side, and not player side? They claim to of watched one guy on open flags with nobody clearly around at all (hotel at mashtuur) turn flags completely in 3 or 4 seconds, and repeat it every time they turned the flag back. They say it also happened on that map at other spots too. Mind you, this was only a 16 man server and they claim to of been fighting the rest of the team on other parts of the map while a single flag gets completely turned in a couple seconds.

I'm curious, I couldn't find the answer here or out there, so I thought I'd ask. Thanks for any help in advance.

doubt it's possible... seen people swear that people have spawned on neutrals, but I'm pretty sure that wouldn't work either... the only possibility I can think of is if the actual server was hacked, but I'm not aware of anyone successfully pulling that off either... if the serverobjects was hacked to allow faster turning, then everyone on that team which has the time lowered would experience the same effect, and I'm sure it would be very, very obvious to players on both teams...

Maybe ther was a whole shitload of people on one flag. me and my clan stacked a server (dominted btw=P) and we had all 6 people + some randoms on the flag and capped sooo quick it wasn't funny.

Not seen a flag go super quick before unless there is a full squad capping it together. However, I've been trying to cap one before with another player and the thing took ages. There was a UAV above us too so I knew there was no-one else there. Odd, but I just think its a glitch or something.

i've seen a flag with no-one around it (not even me) go down by itself during a clanmatch once... When I went near enough to cap it the flag started to slowly go up again but once i moved away it again went down..

If it was neutral then that's the normal behaviour.

never seen it. But I have been in a few rounds where a flag would not cap for the enemy. its was our flag ,USMC, and MEC got to it and it wouldnt lower. All kinds of bitching about hacking. I told them it was a glitch and convinced the MEC to not kill me so I could got near the flag. I did and then ran away, the flag then started to go down. The flag glitches alot, but ive never seen a fast cap before...

I haven't seen it happen, though I've seen all sorts of "questionable" activity so I wouldn't doubt it.

The most impressive cap I've seen was the other day at the gas station in Mashtuur- there must have been 8 of us arrive at the flag at the same time. That flag came turned so fast I couldn't believe it.

Obviously your clanmates aren't newbies so they know how fast a flag will change normally. Anyway, if it were literally just a few seconds it would have to have been more than just two guys, and at the hotel on Mash there's nowhere any additional players could have been hidden from view (except maybe behind/under a Vodnik).

I think this is just an occasional glitch; I've seen a flag capped suspiciously more than once but I've also capped flags solo a few times when it sure seemed to go slower or faster than it should and I'm pretty certain there were no other players there that could have accounted for the differences in speed.

It's not like this would be the only flag glitch either:

Yeah, it's phenomenal how fast it changes with 6+ guys isn't it?! Makes you ache for more cooperation more of the time though.

I've seen guys spawn just after a flag went neutral, i atribute it to my latency and them spawning before the flag goes grey, but I don't have the packets, yet.

And have seen the flag glitch, it seems very rare and random, I came up on a teamate to help once and he turned and capped it while I was at a run. I cannot explain and he is no hacker, but it happens.

A glitcher in a wall would help turn a flag quicker as well, but I don't know of any known spots to do that.

Don't know if this helps but I was playing a sharqi server where my whole mec team had the US down to the city entrance flag. No spawn points were covered, and we couldn't get the flag to go down, there were at least 10-12 guys, vehicles and such capping the flag...but it wouldn't go down. We had uav and everything and there were no enemies there. Odd enough that nobody US couldn't spawn there, but the flag wouldn't move. Weirdest thing I've ever seen, anyone know what that is?

The one time that happened to me, I had killed the guy that spawned on a neutral 3 seconds before, and no medics around. I called him on it, but no response, and obviously no one else was listening in the heat of battle.
