Ok, my mate just installed the new POE2, but couldn't get it to work, so he uninstalled it.

Now, whenever he clicks the 'Battlefield 2' icon on his desktop, the BATTLEFIELD 2 logo appears, then disappears, then nothing happens...

the game never even tries to start up...it just shows the logo, then goes!

anyone had anything like this...i HAVE spent 30 minutes searching.

I get that sometimes but I never installed PoE. I usually jsut click the icon again and it works fine.

in worst case reinstall.
if yuo do not delete your settings it just takes you some time and you can play again.
i just did it yesterday and could play after reinstalling.

at the moment i install poe2 and do not hope to be in you r friends situation.

tried lots of re-installs but nothing is really working...

Have checked the 'Task Manager' too and its not running in the background or anything.

It just refuses to start
