A really good tactic few seem to use....jets & commander assets

I play maps like Kubra Dam & Daqing Oilfields alot, typcially the 64 man versions of both. I always go for the fighter, never the bomber. I just feel extremely vulnerable in the 2-seater jet.

Now typcially what i'll do is inbetween takeing out enemy jets, vehicles etc..... I'll also take out enemy commander assets. Its normally 3-4 bombs per asset. Within 2 minutes there commanders ability to command is virtually gone. If he attempts to repair, i'll just destroy it again. I've actually been cursed to no end by enemy commanders for doing this. They really get pissed off.

Alot of the times when I do this we win the round, so im guessing it helps alot.

With the bomber it works much better.
Yeah this is a good tactic but any half decent Pilot knows it.

Its 2 direct hits to take out 1 assit u must be crap at bombing

You have to learn the rules of the game and then you have to play better than anyone else.

One bombing run will take out 1-2 assets if you are in the big one I do it all the time, heh, much quicker than having to get all the way there as SF.

Have a 2nd player use the LGMs in the bomer to take out the assets... its a one hit kill.

I often get a few kills doing this repeatedly, as engineers fight over the repair points.

Im nothing special as far as bombing goes. Its a 50/50 thing with me and bombing, sometimes i'll take out a tank or AA or APC with the 1st 2 bombs, other times i'll need to reload and them get them with the next 2.

Im sure no one is perfect all the time with bombing.

Yea, sometimes you get a couple of engies in your next run

Actually you do. It doesn't matter how you destroy strategic assets, that you destroy them is key. I've gotten points for destroying them with AT shots, when they're extremely damaged.

I got points from it by shooting with the sniper rifle at an arty cannon at the exact moment the cartillery blew it up.

And yeah,blowing up assets is one of the most underrated things you can do in the game.
Nobody plays SpecOps the way they are supposed to be played,the sneaky James Bond type who infiltrates enemy bases.No planewhore actually performs "Battlefield Interdiction",they just look for kills.

And yet it is so effective,people who often play commander know how it sucks to be without UAV(troops blind),SatScan(you blind) or artillery(you defenseless).
