Okay kids... this is a forum, which is used for discussion, look it up in the dictionary if you must.

If you and the rest of your friends from school want to chat please do that via some sort of chat program, try AIM or ICQ. Hell, if you ALL want to chat together go make an IRC channel. But stop littering our forums with your mindless chatter about what you are going to eat for dinner or what project is due tomorrow in 3rd period.

Take part in actual discussions or leave.

Well, my meaning was two-fold...one was opaque on purpose.
1. Teasing you for your comment that you haven't seen a convo like this...I see 'em all the time
2. I was making an intentionally opaque reference to a Jazz standard titled, "Don't Get Around Much Anymore" (AKA "Never No Lament")

I keep trying to, through obscure references, get this thread on a higher intellectual plane, but I'm thwarted by c0mmand0_j0nes and, to a lesser extent, Miguel.

I've purposely inserted irony, Monty Python, Norman Maclean, Clive Sinclair Lewis, and Duke Ellington in a vain attempt to raise the level of discourse...

It hasn't worked...

See that attempt would've worked BEFORE I read the post, after I was just too numbed to even begin to comprehend it... however now I feel like we are starting our own convo here and we can't have that now can we??
