Knife Badges, when?

Hello everybody,
I've been visiting theses forums a lot and never bothered to register until now . Anyway, I have a question, I am a Master Sergeant (stats: http://bf2s.com/player/58897716/), and I was wondering if I am late in getting my knife badges. As you can see from my stats, I went on a knifing spree and finally got Basic Knife Badge, Veteran Knife Badge, and the Combat Infantry Medal all at the same time (August 28th). Ya, so am I late in getting my knife badges? When do you think I should have gotten them? Also, by what rank should I have played a 100 hours in a kit to get an expert badge? Just a few questions,

Doesn't matter...Mate, It doesn't matter about where you SHOULD be after a certain amount of hours...It should be about having fun. If you have fun, you're on the right track...

Oh, and most people go the 100 hours with Medic first up

There is no formula for when you should have been done with what badges, a tad of advice is to stick with a kit over a longer period to get to know that kit very well ....... other than that ask your squadleader what kit he needs you to play - enchances teamwork

Oh ..... and have fun, thats way important

I agree with the guys above. It doesn't matter. I have plenty of badges but my stats are crap.

Personally I use the badges as a means to self-improvement when I want to focus on getting specific skills better... if I think I am about 75% towards having the skills to get a badge I'll focus on that badge until I get it. Like a training regime.

If I hadnt of updated to 1.3(wishing I hadnt) I still wouldnt have it.

But the fact is I had the required amount of global kills and got it by entering a server for the first time after 1.3.
