? for 1337 Sinpers

I'm on Sharqi, on the crain at construction site. I happen to spot an enemy sniper on the building between construction and TV station. I shoot him, not a headshot so he is still alive. I'm prone, scoped and trying to shoot him a second time.

He turns around stands up, strafes left, strafes right, jumps to prone, shoots and hits me, not a headshot even though all that is exposed to him from my height is my proned head. All within less than half a second. While I'm trying heep him on my crosshair. He's bouncing around strafing then prone and another hit which kills me.

So he obviously has a keyboard macro to do the jump prone thing. But whats up with bouncing like a bunny and still getting a hit from what has to be 100 yards or more?

I am figuring he is either using the accuracy glitch (with excellent timing) where as you are proning all your shots hit. OR Is he using the diving macro to avoid being hit while the AIMBOT makes the hit.

At the very least he is using the AIMBOT ability of the accuracy glitch while proning.

How DID he do that? and don't tell me it is lag. If you guys think it is a cheat, I can tell you what clan he is from.

Earlier on in that battle, he killed me more than once in CQC (I was shotty armed engie) with out even pionting his gun at me. Which I know can be lag but I got killed by a lot of others in the normal way but this guy got me a few times in CQC without even pointing the gun at me.

As for me, I just moved on to another server, I won't play a server if I suspect a cheat and I never accuse anyone in game of cheating.

Perhaps he was just really good and experianced at moving in a way that makes him hard to hit. I dont condone bunnys but you can effectively move in a random way crouch and prone to make yourself a difficult target.

Oh, btw, 100 yards away your head is a giant watermelon in sniper scopes!

Id say he was probably just a "Siera Hotel Indigo Tango" Hot good sniper

But thats my opinion as i have never yet seen a hacker in this game!

First, LOL crane.

The L96 is still pin-point accurate whilst standing and strafing. You just have to compensate for the movement of the crosshairs. Try it out, you will always hit your mark as long as you can time the shot with your movement. I use it alot to hit snipers on rooftops from ground level, since they'll be prone not moving.

Now I know the M24 has the same accuracy as the L96, but for some reason, only 3/5 standing-and-strafing shots will hit my targets. 5/5 willl hit for the L96.

i think your calling the cheat police a little too fast on this one.. he HAS to be using an aimbot.. or HAS to be using a macro... rofl get over yourself... i do what u said all the time.. and not even a sniper kit. if your laying still with only your head showing ur lucky u didnt get 1 shot.

dont mean to be mean... but its the truth. expecially if they are using upgrades or the m4... you best not lay there and expect them not to hit you. just because your a sniper doesnt mean your hidden and can lay still and constantly take shots at someone.

The guy was obviously a leet sniper which is why I am asking this of leet snipers. I know I am no leet sniper. Hell, I don't even like sniping.

I know the crane is a noob place to be, but later in a battle when no one has been there, people forget about it which makes it a good place to go for a few kills.

I totally had the drop on this guy and he didn't even know where I was until after I hit him once.

What I am saying about the prone glitch is that during the act of going prone, all bullets will hit the target you are aiming at with zero deviation. I speculate that it is just like having an aimbot for a split second while you are proning. But doing it with a sniper rifle is just amazing (or is it?). I don't think he was using his scope but I could be wrong about that.

What he did was awesome, but coupled with the few CQC encounters I had with him I became suspicious and moved on.

Sure, maybe I got owned at that moment by him. I ended that round last night with a silver medal on a server that had 40 ppl on it so don't think I'm some whiny noob.
