On Iron Gator, I was running at 15 to 21 frames per second and it was getting very choppy and I couldn't face the direction I wanted to, especially when there were many sounds going on at the same time. I bought a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Value and it alleviated some of the framerate issues. I can now play somewhere between 24 and 41 frames per second depending on what's going on onscreen.
I seriously think there is a memory leak, as it seems smooth at first, but gets very choppy after a few hours of gameplay. The Warlord map is atrocious to play on for me. 15 fps... I don't really want to tweak my settings because I play BF2 Vanilla a lot, and I am playing it a lot more because playing in such unplayable conditions is frustrating.
