But anyway. Aardcore is right. BF2142 is not a mod, neither was SF or AF or EF.

Everybody has an opinion, mine is that 2142 isn't that great. Hell the only reason I will be playing is for the unlocks.

BF2 wont die because people will see how much bf2142 is going to suck and either buy quake wars or just go back to bf2

Well im not going to play BF2142..So by logic..if im nto going to then surely other people are going to think along the same lines as me.

Ill play BF2142, but there wont be any dust on my BF2 disk for a while. EA will have alot of bugs in 2142, making alot of players (including me) a little leery of BF2142 when it first comes out.

Too many people like BF2 to just move on. Im sure EA can help sales of BF2142 by doing what they did with 1942....Wake Island 2142 and Karkand 2142....Since its 2142, there will be new structures in both maps...Only in BF2142, so get your copy today! for a limited time this offer comes with an official BF2142 in game taunt and a custom pocket sized pencil sharpener/comb/nose hair trimmer!

I don't get it, why is every one thinks that upon the release BF2142 would suck. This is why Tuning Beta was introduced. You play beta something you don't like, you submit your opinion to EA/Dice, and they get it fix. For once i think EA does something that people can have their say before final copy of product would come out.
