I usually Machine Gun A Tank or APC all the way untill the last minute then i release my bombs...

The Extra damage done by the Machine gun really comes in handy.. sometimes you can shoot a gunner or people standing around the Tank...

If you even lucky enough.. the tank will have low health and Die...


So Just Machine gun, Then Bomb...

And i dont even use the HUD for Bombing.. didn't know you coud.. I have no problem getting my bombs on target though..

heres a couple tips :

so u dont have to use both bombs 1st go, then go and get one from the runway: when u release the 1st bomb, hit f straight away. the second bomb wont even drop if u do it right.

practice is the main key for bombing, line yourself straight at each target and fly down at a slight angle. eventually u will work out the timing.

come from a steeper angle and drop both bombs to take a tank out in one run. the steeper u fly down at, the closer your two bombs land to each other, so by moving practically straight down, at him, and accounting for movement u will get him.

as said before, change views to see where bombs go, or just go by if u get a kill or not to work out timing.

i couldnt work out what you meant by "HUD with bombing" at first, and id have no idea how to actually use it. i just find the enemy and bomb them, worked out when to click depending on height, angle etc. over 100 hours planeing, have no idea, HUD bombing cant be too important.

If you fly upside down and release bombs...will they blow up your plane?

good tips .. but still hard to realise online and out manouvring AA or enemy planes gets me pounded ALL the time   i do enjoy jets in BF2 (if i can get a plane that is ') still dont seem to understand dropping bombs when in cockpit mode and you dive towards the enemy ... how do you guys have  crosshair " for bombs when attacking groundforces ? any one who has a screenshot of that ? and when looking at HUD the radar of the planes shows enemy ? or not ? i really want to be a better pilot ...

BF1942 and BF vietnam bombing was easy !!!

Very good tip always makes me smile killing a gunner.

After a while i just have a feel for it.. i never EVER used the hud.. just practiced it up in single player until it became natural.

So yeah.. whats a hud? /sarcasm
