im just curious to see if you guys ever play in teh Black Hawk on Mashtuur anymore? I mean it was so fun (in 1.21..i believe) however i only played it a litttle bit becasue i was a karkand whore..i just want to know if any of you guys play in the black hawk,(even though it kinda suks casue of the gun) becasue that involved some teamwork and Bf2 lacks teamwork..im just in the mood to fly in the black hawk and own people with my teammates

can u guys name any good Mashtuur City servers (instead of Insomnia)..thanks

Yes. I use it to fly squad members around and give them a spawn point in the sky. (zomg, using it for transport? of all things!)

TV2 Mashtuur for a 64man 24/7 mashy server.

Try playing on non city maps - I have found there is so much more teamwork on them and it is far more enjoyable.

Yeah, I've recently found a love for non-city maps. Although I can't help but love Warlord. Right now my favorites are Sharqui and Wake. They both have just about everything and any kit works in those maps.

I cant spell it but that shongua stalemate was even better for black hawk whoring, alas the good old days, machur was a great map then they go fuck it up. Why o why they couldnt just upgrade the Z-8 I shall never know, and yea I some times play machur on the ground, its good for small 2-3 man squads I think. But alas I have became a karkand whore 8-) needing to get my spm to 2 before i ditch this thing, BLAME LOW GRAPHICS!

using teamwork on a city map is nice, i play with a group of 5 guys and we get a cojuple medics support etc, and roll some faces. blackhawk nerf sucked, but they are increasing its defence in 1.4 if it ever comes out. u can still own with 2 engineers in ur BH because unless theres a good AA they cant shoot u down with guns or AT

The BH is a pretty powerfull tool in Masthur... Even though it's been nerfed to the point where it's shooting BBs. I use it a LOT when I play Masthur. And BECAUSE it's been nerfed there's not that many people intrested in it, so it's easier to get it.

Yeah, it's now basically a transport helo for rapid tactical insertion, quick hit and run strikes (like the enemy arty), or simply a way to get your snipers into good spots fast.. It's not a floating gunship anymore. And you CANNOT use it to engage in any kind of battle. A hummer just has to LOOK at it wrong and it will start burning. But that hardly makes it useless. Au contraire. You just have to think about what you want to use it for.

If its sat still on the ground, its awesome for holding back enemy troops. Very useful when you fly to the MEC gas station, all of your crew/players hop out and you sit on the minigun facing towards one of the spawnpoints. They dont have a chance in hell.

Songhua used to be paradise. I once managed to fly the BH for one whole round. They just couldn't take me down. I was flying, two buddies on TS for gunning. only thing you had to keep an eye on was the AA but with some skills you could come out of nowhere and wipe everything on that roof. My buddies had like 60 kills each IAR. That was awesome.

Blackhawk whoring/flag hopping/spawn whoring < circle your choice.

I use it mainly as a mobile spawn point. *It's raining men, halleluja*. Works great for fast rounds.

i like 1.1 where you could cap bases with a full BH in like 3 secs while the gunners own anything thta came close :
