At this point I'm fed up with people who either punish because it's easy to hit page down or because they're dicks and always punish. Even when they die because of their own stupidity. I would love to see a stat modifier along the lines of X punishments over X amount of time = -X hit to their own stats. Everyone screws mine up I want them to take their own medicine. I think this would cut down on bad punishments tremendously.

well, i only punish when the guy who killed me didnt say sorry i give him 15 sec before i respawn....if he says sorry well lets forgive him. i always say sorry if i accidentally (thats 99 % of all the TKs that are made per day) if he punish me ...well 1 time alright..no probles its a dick...but if it happens the 2nd time i really get pissed then i take a buggy or humvee and drive at him and the last moment i jump out so he ''Jus died'' and he gets -2 for that and i keep doing that untill i,m sattified with his score Yeah i know i,m a total Jerk

Actually, I think LOTS of people realize it, but they also think it *might* enhance their opportunities for medals et al...in other words, they are not only stupid, they are also selfish and I suspect that they mostly have poor scores as a result, which tends to feed the cycle of stupidity.

I punished three times this morning in a 15 minute span on Karkand. First time some guy sammed grenades on the Hotel flag while I'm capping the flag. Second time some spawn camping guy in an APC kills me in the alley when I'm shooting at a guy. Third time a support guy shoots me straight in the face at the square flag.

I don't punish if it's my fault or if I have no idea what killed me but if I know the TKer is just being negligent, I will punish. Hopefully they will ease up on their selfish point whoring and weapon spamming so the rest of the team can function properly. If not, they will eventually get kicked from all of the punishes and learn the hard way.

Sometimes AT mines have no right being where they've been set, this does not please me, and watch out next guy, I'm gonna run over all you mines 1 by 1 until you have a big fat -20 on your record, which will hopefully get you kicked, face it some of you do stupid things as well, the worst TK is when you get red-blued and kill several team mates trying to kill enemies, however the most satasfying kills are those where you squad up with an enemy showing blue and kill him again and again 'coz you see him spawn and can hunt for him with your map

The best way to change it is to fix the option of punishment. But balance it like hmmmmmm... You will get -4 points for teamkill, and person who was killed by you will get -2 or -4 if he punished you, like this person maked a suicide. So everyone will be kinda happy LoL. At least its better than just remove punish option, so everyone will just stand infront of the tank, you will kill them and automatically get punished. Just my opinion. Sure it will not work with hmmm.... Personally I dont use punish option at all, and hate when someone does. Especially if punisher is the same guy who you forgive thru all of the round.

I second this all. I'm fucking sick of getting banned from servers because SOME FUCKING MORON NOOB DOESN'T EVEN WATCH HIS OWN FUCKING SCREEN AND KEEPS RUNNING EVEN WHEN THE FUCKING SKULL ICON APPEARS!

I think any TK by explosives should not be punishable unless you're in a vehicle. I hate people running into my AT mines or claymores and punishing. Thank god they fixed the arty punish. Most people don't even wait for a "sorry" before they mash the page down putton.
