WHAT does incremental mens when you are going to download something.

If you have the last patch then you can get an incremental which is quicker.

No. Incrementals tend to be buggier. Many problems with 1.3 were solved by running the full patch. If you are going to use the incremental do what I do.[alpha_team_nipper] wrote:

Copy the Battlefield 2 Folder (C:/Program Files/EA Games/Battlefield 2) and rename the new "copy of Battlefield 2" as "Battlefield 2 1.3".
Run the incremental.
If anything is fooked, delete "Battlefield 2" and rename "Battlefield 2 1.3" as "Battlefield 2" then run the full 1.4 patch.

I'd recommend you download the full patch. The incremental patches for BF2 are notoriously buggy (although they can work fine) but they only work with the specific version they're made for, e.g. 1.3-1.4. So say something goes wrong, you can't try the same patch again because it won't see your installation of BF2 as being the version it needs to work from. With the full patch you could have 1, 1.13, 1.2 or whatever and it'll patch you up regardless.[alpha_team_nipper] wrote:
