I just came home from work. Turned on my computer, logged on to the Internet, went to BF2s.COM and ...... 1.4 was finally out. I read all the fixes and felt cheated. Again ! EA/DICE is working too hard on BF2142. They don't give a fuck about the remaining BF2 PLAYERS. The changes in 1.4 did not make me download it right away and install it. I AM THROUGH WITH BF2. I deinstalled everything. I rather play RED ORCHESTRA now and AMERICA'S ARMY again.
TRIPWIRE at least know how to make a almost perfect, realistic game.

It was nice to be in this community. Take care all

Yeah, they kinda ruined the game at all now, ''no bunnyhoppin'' ah wtf, why did you make a no vehicle option, if the only thing you can do is, run/walk around, get shot, shoot someone..
Sorry, but I did bought a game right, not a real life war sim?

as a conspiracy theorist....I would submit that it might be possible they are pushing people away from bf2 and toward 2142....if the current version of bf2 has constant connection and ctd issues....it may just work. let's face it.....it cost money to constantly "fix" the game, the initial $50 they get from the original purchase only goes so far - they need people to buy the new game - it really is not much of a stretch.

Yep. I'm finished with the Battlefield Series. I'm tired of having to adapt to shittier and shittier gameplay every few months just because people think they're playing a simulator instead of a game. Fuck it, I'll be in Iraq soon enough and don't need to play a war simulator for crying out loud.
