its also nice to know that if you cant connect to the account server you have to hard reboot your pc since someone left out the

Lets all go play Call of Duty 2, that'll pass some time. You'd think that the least they would do is to put up a notice on the main EA site, but no nothing. Then again that might be to embarasing if any shareholders saw that.... Sorry we can't do anything right.... sell sell sell.

And hopefully, they're fixing a bunch of annoying crap: Improving game speed, lowering badge time requirements (the army badges for SF now require 4500 hours on that army. This is twice as hard to do as others, considering each army is only on like two maps, and there are very few 24/7 servers), etc.

Is is just me or is this problem giving sertain people super powers?!, i mean u shoot the hell out of a guy and he shoots you in the face once with a F2000 peice of fag shit and yer dead!, this is getting agrevating since my stats are messed and it wont give me my unlocks!
Press CTRL+ALT+DEL, then press the Enter key. It should ask you if you want to terminate bf2.exe, thus making you not have to reboot.

Your unlocks work on the BF2 DEMO, and not the actual game. Dont ask me why, but they do.
Just like "TCSO-BadSnipaDay" said above, the games have become very unfair due to EA's new installment to the Battlefield 2 game. Pretty much, all EA is doing, is making you pay to have an advantage over the other people who havent, or are unable to finacially buy the new installment. The new unlocks that other people can get, gives them a way bigger advantage over everyone else that has not bought the game "Battlefield 2: Special Forces"
EA will be loosing alot of customers due to not only the account server running very slow, but also the fact that adding on Special Forces and allowing them to play in the same servers as the original Battlefield 2 members makes the game unfair.
For those of you who werent clear on this, if you REALLY wanna play BF2, Login, and wait the 5-10 min it takes for the account to login. Its not really that bad. Login, go prepare something to eat, and come back, and the game will be ready for you to play.

some people like me for instance can't login ive tried the waiting thing the spinngin 2 finally turns into a regualr mouse and my pc craps up its like ea wants me to throw this thing through a wall
Glad to see i m not the only 1 having "connecting to account server" problems, even ctrl-alt-del isnt working anymore and i have to reboot to get out of the freeze.
Ive been reinstalling bf2 about 3/4 times tonight to get it fixed. I got sf yesterday and i ve been playing sf last night and it worked fine.
Tonight i tried to play sf but the only thing i got was these weird freeze problems.
Hope ea ll sort out these account server problems so we can all play again soon.

Ahhh, I started downloading America's Army cause I was so frustrated, should I cancel the download to play BF2? lol....

This includes properly fixing their software, and making services that each of us paid for available as per the advertising on the box. If they don't deliver that, we definitely have the right to complain. If you want to just roll over and take it, that's your choice.

I won't be "blackmailed" into buying the SF expansion while the lousey "It must be your PC" support and ongoing game flaws remain un-addressed - so the money that was earmarked for SF now goes for CoD II.
