wow, I just discovered the ridiculous shell drop of the RPG, might be the only weapon in the game that drops more than the tank shell.

I knew a guy who had mastered the shell drop on the 1942 AT weapons, he had shot down over 100 aircraft using them. I thought he was bluffing but over successive weeks on the server I saw him getting more and more aircraft like that! It was pretty amazing, given the slow speed and massive curve on the launchers in 1942.

yes but the aircraft weren't much faster so with practice and provided the enemy pilot was flying straight it's not that hard to hit in 1942. the trick is finding a pilot stupid enough to fly in a straight line long enough for you to get a bead and drop him or her.
and dshak in most maps that drop is more benefitial than hurtful because you can "drop" it right over a wall into a vehicle or personel if you know what your doing. also it';s fire and forget so you can fire switch back to your main weapon when they get to close on foot.

yeah yeah, I know, its just pretty extreme, I was surprised! I never played 1942, though I hear I missed out big time.
