Okay, i finaly downloaded the 1,4 full patch (23kb/s!), and double clicked the icon. the box thing came up that says Battlefield 2, then the game started to load, and then it...... crashed. so i tried it again, same thing. and again. and again. and again... WTF is happening here! i only got the game a couple of days ago! any help?

well his post isn't locked so any help. i can offer no advice as i just updated the incremental and i'm running just fine. i've always done the incremental by the way. oh well i would reinstall bf2, then d/l the 1.4 elswhere. sounds corrupt. buy like i said, i don't know.

I down loaded it from this site, so i shouldent think it is courrupt, but if it is, then damn. Ill try reinstalling BF2 though.

I think when the link was first posted on this site, it was pointing to the wrong file.You may have been one of the unlucky ones that got that. So try downloading the patch again.
Ive just re-read your post, you say you downloaded the patch, then clicked the icon, then BF2 started to load, then crashed. You did actually install the patch after downloading it didnt you?

incremental works fine all systems green on my bro's comp and he installed incremental
the same thing happened to me i reinstalled the game and am reinstalling the patch right now
I downloaded incremental yesterday and is working just fine. Are you sure you didn't patch the game to 1.3 and now tried the full version?
I downloaded the 1.4 from here and all I can go on is the BETA SERVERS! What the hell! I need help! Do I have to uninstall the whole thing AGAIN!
