yeh looks good. i used to play 40k, but i stopped (costs way too much, and i obly really enjoyed painting them). i do love firewarrior though and dawn of war.

this mod should be good.

Indeed. But i dont know how they can add spaz marines. I mean their armour is immensely better than the Imperial Guards or Tau. And their Bolters are stronger than the lasguns.

Mabe they could use scouts since they have bolters sniper rifles and different add on's to make it battlefieldish? I'd take a small squad of space marine scouts over stupid Imperial Guard anyday. Now, if I could get back all the money I spent on 40k figures I could by myself a couple of brand new computers...hmmmmm

Ye i hear you i spent loads. Btw they have models on the site they have made and its the normal marines not the scouts that they have modelled. See what happens. Personally i prefered the Imperial Guard though. Gotta love those Cadians

I always used Space Wolves as my army of choice. Next was Tyranids. I know they can't do Tyranids in the mod so I have to hope for Marines (too bad they are Blood Angels, though). I know a guy that's so into 40k that he owns a hobby shop and has a Blood Angels tattoo...

Apart from the tatoo which is a tad over the top thats cool. I had quite a few space wolves and would have preffered them to be in it. I think they have made tehm Blood Angels (Ravens) because of Dawn of War

Yeah, he owned the hobby shop just because of Warhammer (and the tattoo was actually pretty awesome looking). I was really disappointed in the Firewarrior game so I know the mod guys will make 40k shine. They have an alpha version out on their website for the mod they originally did for 1942. I downloaded it and played it about a year ago. It was fun. When BF2 came out they decided to code for it and scrapped the 1942 mod. This will be a long time coming and I have a feeling I will like it more than 2142.

Nice to see they are still working on it. Too bad the guys on that Mechwarrior mod gave up. Or we would have had two Mods that could easily beat that crap mod by EA/DICE.
