I really want to improve my helli gunner skills without annoying most pilots in a multiplayer game. However, i am forced to drag the score of these hard working men down, as my single player mode is stupidly, mind bendingly slow. Needless to say, this is really annoying. I am using a single player (offline) account and do not know what to do. please help.

Also, if i use the local server method for one player against lots of bots, do i use an on or offline account?

So what your saying is there is more lag on singel player than multiplayer?

More bots = more lag, simple as that. And for singleplayer, it doesn't matter if you use your online or offline account. Same goes for Local.

if u have other account u might have too good settings. drag everything low and it might help.

Your computer has to process all the actions of each bot in the game which uses alot of memory, which is why it goes slow.

Go into multiplayer and go create local and pick a map. There will be know peeps and you can have 64 man maps

I had the same problem even though i have a brand new 7900GT graphics card so its not the bots that are lagging.  Its 1.4.  Your game should not lag in single player.  You can have choppy frame rates but lag is something else.

If you lower your graphics settings and you still have lag then let me know and i'll tell you what i did to fix my problem.
