Maybe I am getting old, I dunno...
I joined a server the other night. Need some medic/support time for a medal so I picked a Karkand with low ping for me.
Got thrown on the MEC side. Decide to play engy instead because I also need the repairs. But I joined slowly so I knew that the armor would already be taken. Sure enough I check the map, and there is no armor in the MEC factory.
So spawn near the canal to lay down mines. Finished, I check the minimap to check if any armor had died yet. All the armor is dead? Crap. Head back to the factory then realise that there won't be any armor, it is an IO server.
Immediately suicide to support and spawn near the frontlines.
LOL but there was nothing in the server name to indicate an IO server. What a dumbass!
