Hey guys. I bought BF2 in late August after I got to school (I'm currently going to RPI) and was addicted from the start. I play on my Thinkpad T43p for the most part-it's adequate enough to play the game in 1280x1024 without hiccups. That is, until the newest patch...
First of all, it takes ages for me to login compared to what it used to be. Secondly and much more important, is that the game now crashes about 80% of the time when I join a server, most of the time restarting my computer. It only got worse after I got Special Forces yesterday. After re-patching the game, I have now only gotten online 3 times, and have crashed at least 10 times. It's ridiculous!! I bought this game because I found it to be incredibly fun....this is most definately not fun.
Is anyone else having problems like these?
