Belgie heeft toch ook mooie steden om te bezoeken zoals waar jij woont of Brugge, Gent of Knokke....
And it's allowed to have several hemp plants just like in Holland. Belgium will finally become something but he have to leave those politically right thoughts to the French and start thinking. And yes i know about that crazy murder over an I-Pod...

I was welcome in the USA so you are all welcome in Holland. LOL
Live here, does that count?
Closest I've been: Belgium. Shoulda hooked up with Robin there but it was two years ago and I didn't know him.
I plan to go to the Netherlands, but then again, I'm planning on going everywhere. I expect to catch up with all of you in my travels and make you buy me a beer.

But actually Amsterdam isn't a right reflection of Holland. Cause of all the tourists....
Utrecht is a better reflection in my opinion.
Hmm.. i live there..
my clan did a gathering there. Peps from europe went. But I didnt. I would like to go though.
Key West sucks, dude. Once you've been there for 3 days you've been there for you life. Netherlands is way better
The Hague ! ftw.Sandriatinhi wrote:

Yes you really don't get, the thing about fighting wars was actually more of a joke.Sandriatinhi wrote:

Right. Most people praising the Netherlands are praising it for 2 reasons: drugs and Amsterdam. They're not really aware of the existence of Brugge, Gent or Antwerp and drugs aren't really a promotional item here so nobody would even think of coming here.Sandriatinhi wrote:

I'm not all that knowledgeable about our softdrugs legislation because I get the impression it's still not very clear. Softdrug use is legal only if you're of age (18) and if your use of it does not cause inconvience to other people meaning you can only use it in the confines of your own home or that of someone else who has no objections to you using it. Using softdrugs anywhere near a minor (under 18) is illegal. Posession of said softdrugs is limited to only a very minute amount (for personal use), the amount being such you have to buy new supplies every day (assuming you don't even smoke it that much). If you are caught in posession of anything more than this very small amount of substance, you will be considered a drug dealer and drug dealing is, of course, illegal. On the ownage of hemp plants I believe there was a note sent around to the courts saying you could have some but this note is not very clear so I'd say just consider the growing of such plants to be illegal.Sandriatinhi wrote:

And "Belgium will finally become something", I resent that remark. I think that kind of legalisation of drug use is a step in the wrong direction. Any use of drugs that alter your awareness or that have no other effect than becoming addictive other than as a prescribed medical treatment is objectionable in my eyes. This "softening" of the law did not occur just because there was political support for legalisation of softdrugs. This law was passed mainly because not considering some very minor drug use as a crime would lessen the stress on our justice system, which sucks big time.
Te veel handgranaten in woonwijken, man!

Why are most people getting drunk in weekends then?
And how much damage does that drinking do to your liver or brain? I'm not even talking about the agression(death/wounded by fights) caused by alcohol.
No the alcohol is legalized, so it is not so bad they say..... No man sorry you don't know what you are talking about. I've seen a documentary about alcoholics and they even said that alcohol is the most destructive drug in the world.

Lived in Utrecht for 6 months. Loved it.
Ah, I knew the alcohol point was going to come up. But here's the thing: Alcohol, when used in moderation is not addictive. Alcohol doesn't necessarily get you drunk. Alcohol consumption to the point where it gets you intoxicated should be illegal also. There is some legislation on this (it is illegal to be drunk in public, but this should be expanded to being drunk in general) but there is practically no enforcement of this law.Sandriatinhi wrote:

I know full well the damage excessive alcohol use and addiction can do, thank you. Do I use alcohol? Yes. Have I ever gotten drunk? Never. A lot of people think getting drunk is like really fun. I think getting drunk is a f****** disgrace.
Been to utrecht, rotterdam, and a few times to some centerparks-like thing. I liked it, but basicly because of the company. It looks a lot like belgium.
The Netherlands own you!!
