Have you ever seen a game in the past 5-6 years  that wasn't copy-protected?

no point copying it, just get the mini image of the dvd and run it through daemon tools. dump the dvd in a draw sumwhere and forget about it.

Just download the BF2 mini image from gamecopyworld and get daemon tools, load the image file into it and presto your pc thinks its got a bf2 dvd in it when it dosn't really.

Well... in that case:

Option 1: Buy a backup copy

Option 2: If something happens to the CD, contact EA customer support to order a replacement CD (I think at slightly reduced cost)

Option 3: Be really careful with your CD's, don't scratch them and store them in an appropriate casing at a reasonably safe location. (easiest and most affordable option)

I do own computer games that I played heavily which I bought 10 years ago... and they are still working properly....

I sincerely hope, you do not request tips on how to illegaly circumvent copy-protection... that might be seen as software-piracy by some less open minded persons....

Go here
http://www.gamecopyworld.com/

and take the no cd exe that will work.
You can always copy a cd/dvd and install but you need a no cd crack to be able to play.
