Hey should I get an iPod or a Creative Zen V ??? Or any other MP3 player that is worth the money. I know there have been threads on this before but not this specific question. So which one is better? I don't really care about photos or videos just music so a $302930390403939 video/movie/picture/music/internet/email/games iPod is out of the question here. =p

creative zen, cuz their software is much simple than !tunes and the screen for the zen can display more colors

Well I'd vote for any creative Mp3 player over any iPod, so go for the V, it'll work nicely and you won't have to deal with apple software being chucked down your throat.

Apple iPod...simple to use, new iTunes has cover art (cool feature), allows you to organize and view by album (another cool feature).

The iPod is the easiest mp3 player to use, it is light and the new nano's are thiner, lighter and more durable than the previous model.

More options with auto jacks, home stereo options and future home media center. That's my $0.02

I vote Zen, my g/f has one and its probably one of the better MP3s players ive seen. Hers is an 8 GB, not to mention, fucking everyone has an Ipod, go with something different, they all work the same.

The ipod menu system is slow and are not that logical (with regard to adding a song to the playlist), whereas the creative's menu system is floorless and slick.

Ipods are also common, and to be honest....who likes common?!

I like to actually feel i am holding something substantial, not a fragile object which is why i dislike the nano.

Going round in circles is also tedious apposed to the simple, vertical, touch sensitive scroll which the creative has (creative zen).

My opinion is that the creative's look alot nicer, but that's just personal preference.

Why would 75% of people make up random statistics?

Many people buy them because they are decent quality products, and they are trendy. Im not saying Ipods are horrible, they are a good product, but I think some people dont realize how many other options are out there. The only difference is the way the products are marketed. Ipods have the fancy commercials with the flashy color backgrounds and the sillouhette of a person dancing with the ipod in white.......have you seen a commercial period for a Zen? I for one have not. And when you think that they dont all work the same, all he said he wants is a MP3 player, not one with more features than a fucking space shuttle. An MP3 player is an MP3 player.....they play music.

My suggestion is, go to a store and ask to be able to compare them such as software, etc, etc. Check out the functionality of each then make your decision that way.

What really annoys me are cameraphones. Everyone has one and they all seem to think they're master photographers because they hit a button and take a horrible grainy photo with some stupid effect on it. The only good thing IMO is that you can give people pictures in your address book but otherwise I see no reason why Id use a cameraphone over a real camera.

well, it depends on how much youll use it, my g/f Zen is rechargable by plugging into a USB port. Not bad really. Mine on the other hand, not rechargable, and I gotta put a new AAA battery in it every so often.
