Got a riddle from my sister who received it from her sons teacher wont give the answer till the end...
Asked tons of people and no one seems to known it.

So here it goes...

A man in a burger joint draws some stuff in green ink on his bill then gives it with money to the waitress. Right when she sees it she says you where in the navy right?

how did she know he was in the navy??

the picture he drew was
top left corner a square
if you drew a horizontal line to the right of the square there would be a tiny bit of a circle above it
do the same for the circle and there would be a little bit of a triangle above it.
so the shapes are in a diagonal line of the sorts.

under the square is 2x13=26
under the circle is 4x3=12
under the triangle is 2x12=24

send me some clues or the answer if you know it please thanks!

I wonder if the complete lack of a coherent explanation has something to do with no one being able to answer it...

Ouch...

My sister called me up to see if I could help them figure out this riddle. It is from her sons school book dealing with math and science.  Its in the "Do this for fun" section.  She has figured out all the other riddles except this one.  They will not give the answers out for a few months.

Her is the riddle:

A man was in a burger bar one day when he had finished his meal he drew the following picture in green ink on his bill:

https://img201.imageshack.us/img201/7344/riddlecg2.png

As he handed the bill to the waitress with his money she said to him "you're in the navy aren't you?"

How did she know?

The other riddles had to do with math in some way, so the easy answer he was wearing his uniform doesn't seem to fit.

Hopefully this clarifies what I was trying to explain...
Thanks
