BF2S Forums The P90

I like the pistol, and I am confident with it, so I am constantly torn between the two (DAO-12 and P-90)!

I don't do the single shot stuff much with the P90. I leave it on full auto and let the rounds fly. I'm constantly finding myself running out of ammo when no support is around.

wow i cant hit  anything with the p90 i fire 25 rounds at a guy point plank dont even get a hit he simply turnes around and knifes me

hmmmm....i wish p90 had a rpm of 1200....but besdies that it's a good weap but thre's not enough clips to go with it....same with mp7

They increased the ROF to 900RPM from 600 and because of that I love the thing.

There arent many clips because it has a 50 round mag.

I'm not saying I approve of the bunnyhopping (which I don't - I hate those freakin faeries) but if you have a problem with an anti-tanker taking out a couple of guys with a DAO there is something wrong with you. You had your chance to kill him, just react faster. And if you didn't kill him at least he should be so injured that death would be instantaneous if he'd walk into a wall. Last but not least taking out a bunch of guys with a DAO empties the weapon which means he is extremely vulnerable for a considerable amount of time.

You know what you should try? NOT using tight formation. If you do you're sitting ducks for semi auto shotguns, grenades (both thrown and launched), machine guns, tank rounds,... Not to mention the fact that when the shit hits the fan everybody probably starts shooting and people are caught in friendly fire actually helping the enemy. If there's room, USE it, spread out.

i like the idiot that i am have left the p90 and the mp-7 as my last two unlocks

should get sgt mgr at the weekend though

i can use it in euro force for some reason though.

As far as I know, the AT kit is one of the most effective in the game.

infantry, boats, planes, transports - 1 rocket
heavy transports - 1-2 rockets
choppers, apc's - 2-3 rockets
tanks - 3-5 rockets

The DAO-12 is excellent for flag defense. The P-90 has good killing capability. This kit's only real weakness is ammo, so call for boxes, or hang around support buddies. Roofs are great spots.

Look, my point is DAO is just a noob weapon.  Almost anyone could do the exact same.  No, it doesn't happen that often, but for example when my squad and I have just defeated 2 tanks and 5-10 infantry at the airfeild on Wake Island, it's aggravating to have it all lost just because a noob ran out and auto-shotgunned our squad leader.

I'm not a huge P90 fan, mostly because the SMG's used to be soo bad (MP-5 v1.03) but it's gaining respect. Sadly, it's my last unlock, along with the mg36, but after really getting to know the mp-7 yesterday, I can't wait. That said, I love the DAO. I have to agree with Sarge, that it is noob. There are too many kiddies that run around and get 1 kill per clip and think it's awesome. I like the fact that someone with a little skill can turn a corner and take out a squad of 5 or 6 guys with it in one go.  Anyways, I need to go score 23k points so I can experience it for myself.
