One day our clan was really bored and we had Jalalabad currently playing with a full server so we decided to race. It was quite intense dodging tanks, mines, AT rockets, and generally staying alive. We raced from the US uncap to the other end of the map and back on the main road. Few servived. Our own Snowboarding_Nwolf recorded this video.

Personally, I thought he did a nice job without using battle recorder.

Ive done the same, just a few hours ago. I just randomly asked people to race, someone was dumb enough to, but a two car race dosent last long. He ran into an AT mine and blew me up with it less than 30 seconds into the damned race. Great racing map though.

Yeah, I hope they add the map into the battleracer mod, that would be cool.

And yeah, we had like 12 people and most the time only 1 or 2 survived.

yeah, the racing action on J/bd is great! i have also done this out of boredom (3am, server still full but i'm bleary-eyed and don't care anymore type of scenario)... if no-one wants a race then i treat it as a 'frontline rally', and just grab a buggy and see if i can make it there and back alive, with points for roadkills along the way. good fun!

looks like lots of fun. For me, the highlight of the game is actually blazing around in those buggies running people over. Mostly the enemy, but sometimes my own teammates if the mood strikes me. Regardless of who I run over, I nearly piss myself laughing every time. My all-time favorite BF2 moment was when I was playing the demo and I drove the buggy over a bunch of mec who were hiding out behind the building and the barrell wall at the airfield...you know, that long, narrow stretch that only the buggy will fit in if you approach it the right way. I got about 8 guys all at once......shit, I can't even write this, I'm laughing so hard just thinking about it....
