For all of those who make sigs, I have a few questions.

1. Where do you get the images in your sigs? (I know you can use Google, but is there anywhere else)
2. What application do you prefer to use when making sigs?
3. Do you have any links to tutorials on how to make sigs?

1. Depends on the sig I am making. I made one with a flag. I got the image from wikipedia. The render in my current sig came from the BF2142 website.

2.Photoshop CS2. Imageready CS2 for the gifs.

3. I don't use any site exclusively. But I have been to some of the ones already mentioned.

EDIT: Try DeviantART for some brushsets. They are invaluable for making signature backgrounds. That is a link to search results for Photoshop brushes. There were an odd 39,000 results.

I draw mine. I scan 'em into Fireworks MX 'cause it's the only thing I have, (effing worthless,) and I used to colour them there, but with Fireworks it's not easy so now I just leave them as sketches.

I am using Fireworks MX also. It is also the only application that I have that is a really advance image editor.

Try using flash for hand drawn stuff, its legendry for that, its a huge help to be able to move lines around once they are set, curve them and straighten them too

Maybe one day, Ill go to kmart and pick up some skill and try drawing again

Thats definatly not an indicator of my mad prowess with the pencil, And unfortuantly, all the pens I can get my hands on really really suck at inking in stuff so my real work takes ages to be shown
