Problems with 1.4 patch

Hello... I Installed 1.4 patch (incremental version) and have this kind of problem : i can normally run the game , log in to my account , but can't connect to the server or even play a single player... It drops me back to Windows... Somewhere i read than it may be because of it is Incremental version... Can you guys help me?

P.S.: I'm from Poland so please forgive me any grammar mistakes

OK... So... I installed full patch and still having same problems (i can log in , check my stats , but if i want to play single player or multi player it drops me back to windows...). Checked on Road To Jalalabad only... But I'm gonna check SF and other maps also...

Eh... It seems to be right what are they saying (than dice messed it up)...

OK... Now i have "clean" version of BF2 with SF... I'm gonna make safety copy of it

BTW : Can i use 1.4 patch full without patching to 1.3?

Yaaaawheee!! It works again I Reinstalled BF2 , installed SF , then 1.4 Full (!) and game runs perfectly... I don't know what was the problem exactly...
Anyway - now I'm gonna check that "Road To Jalalabad"...

Yeah, I had a similar problem, but I couldn't even get the game started! Turned out I just needed the full patch.

Ugh, I am having this problem. I double click the icon. The splash screen shows then a black screen loads, then a second later, it's gone. I have uninstalled, rebooted and installed many times and it still ain't working. Any ideas?

So... Here i go again After everything were super - hiper cool , now its bad again... I found something strange - its showing me than i have version 1.1.29..... hmm... i know than i used 1.4 full patch... Ah and the middle of problem - now back to times than i couldn't get on the server

help ........... i started playing on my account today , changed the video settings ... all is well then i notice the gfx mash up , so i disconnect and restart the game ... now this time i notice my account has dissapeared , and when i goto gamespy to reset the password .. guess what it has no record of my user name .... any takers ?
