i used to have a laptop and id play off my neighbors wireless network. my laptop broke so i've been playing bf2 wih dial up and ive got over 2000 points doing so. i hide and go as commander. the only trick is finding a server that wont kick for high ping!

well if ur ina pinch, dial up will do. ive actually been able to kill some guys while in a tow or mounted MG

my ping isa around 600, but ive seen it as low as 150, but as high as 3500

What sought of ping times do you get on Dial up i remember back in the day when a ping of 200 was low...

i use 2mb and since installing 1.4 i get a ping of over 7000 on some servers

wtf is going on there?

i joined one once and it played fine though.

i think it's telling me the wrong ping.

maybe i'd be better off using dialup.

600 ping? wow, I didn't think it was that bad. My ping on games back when I had dial up was around 150-250.

I think battle field just has bad ping. For the same server host I get a much lower ping on CS then BF2. Somthing like 10-20 on CS compared to 40-100 for BF2.
