I'm interested on what you guys think about the Montreal College shooting that just occured recently. Me personally I don't understand. This was a completely different case than Columbine, when the students responsable for the shooting actually attended the school...
The guy was disturbed. He played with guns all the time and was some sort of rejected goth geek. Apparantly somthing pushed him over the edge.
But you really have to wonder what would have pushed him so far over the edge?jonsimon wrote:

Who knows, probably a lot of little small things.JoeFriday wrote:

Probably the fact he was 25 and still lived with his motherjonsimon wrote:

Yeah...that could have had something to do with it...I still doubt that would have made him shoot up a school...Ikarti wrote:

Maybe he had some sort of mental problems, i am not a psychologist, but it is the most likely reason. Being older and still not maturing could be the roots of the mental problemsJoeFriday wrote:

I'm actually taking Psychology right now for policing and the funny thing is that among all of the theories and examples stated nothing describes this incident, the only quirk that this guy had about him was that he was a goth...which does not make him a mass murderer...Its a no brainerspecops10-4 wrote:

He was a Siki ( spelling ) ?
Which I believe are from India.
He became Americanized, played too much Postal and decided to kill.
Senseless, mindless and should not be discussed other than to say;
My condolences to the victims.

Whatever causes violence like this, people will always exploit it for political ends and assign a to it a single overriding cause. Guns are evil. Games are evil. Clothes are evil. Family is evil. Etc.
