IMO there isn't a 'best' sniper rifle, they all have their uses, but i'd say the Type 88 is the worst.

i like to think that each level has their own best rifle, e.g - Dragon Valley - L9, Gulf - M95 and Karkand - M24
Yes if u want to shoot down helicopters go for the stinger, fighter, bomber, attack chopper or heavy machine gun type sniper rifles. I prefer using anything but the M95, though lately I've been using the L96, my last unlock.Bertster7 wrote:

I edited it back in in a mini-mod.
And it's a good thing they edited it out because the DICE original version is nerfed so hilariously badly, it's useless. (It was too powerful IRL...so they made it useless in-game...then they just took it out.)
-Less damage than any sniper rifle. (3/4 shots to kill infantry in body. WTF?)
-Approx. 2x scope. Think 2142 snipers.
-Scope field-of-view that's about, oh, 1/4 of your screen.
-Scope glitches when you move while zoomed.
I changed the scope magnification and upped the damage in my mod, but I can't fix the scope problems.
Edit: Oh, and you couldn't fire it while crouched/standing. I changed that too.
