Well currently I´m 16 years old and in a couple of years the military time comes.
If I have the possibility to enlist should I.
Many of the men in my family have been in the army and few have been in the war zones.
But if you can avoid getting in war would that not be a good thing.'
And it would not surprise me if Iraq and Afghanistan are still hot zones in 2008 and even a few years more.
There is a big military base in my town, and I heard about the soldiers from my area going to Iraq and in the last month or two two soldiers have been severely hurt. I mean one guy almost got his head shot of by a sniper. The bullet went through his god damn head. But he is still alive.
I know there are still some years, but it is always good to talk about such a thing.
To the men that already have been in Iraq, what were your thoughts when you were"forced" to enlist.

The question is, is that what you want to do?  The military is very different from civilian life.  Would you not want to fight in Iraq?  Not many people WANT to go, but would you have a big problem if you were ordered to?  If you would, I do not recommend enlisting.  What do you want to do?  The military has a lot of options, some better and some not as good as in the civilian world.  Since you know people in the military, ask them about what is good and what is bad.
