Blackhawk w/missiles

Search gave me no love.

I have seen pictures of this blackhawk in the game but with huge missile pods on the outriggers. Anyone know where this is in the game? Mod perhaps?

I believe it is in the SF expansion pack. I wouldn't know for sure since I do not have SF.

Its called "SEAhawk" and not black.. Its not in the game. I always wanted to know why.. thats a good question mate ! somebody, obviously took the trouble for building them..

It got cut from the game early on. The blackhawk is powerful enough already without missile pods on each side.

Also I believe this thread has been done before.

This is a black hawk m8, only the U.S marines use his little brother the seahawk, and i can know this cos i am a marine by myself (but not in the reguler divisions) Foreigner squad 14, divions C, group 2, delta attachment.

since the pic is on the back of the box, we could actually start a class action lawsuit against EA/Dice for false advertising and get a refund on the game and prevent them from actually being able to develop anymore games like the battlefield series

I have been working on Hawks for 13 plus years. The Wings are for the US Army, known as ESSS (Extenal Storage Support System), and 90% of the time have 240 Gal fuel tanks on them. Hellfire missles and Rockets were tested by the Army and Air Force, but never used in operational missions. The US Navy uses fuel tanks and torpeados on thier hard points.

Hmm. I'm wondering the same thing... Maybe its a mod.. Anybody else know? I've seen alot of pictures of blackhawks w/ Missles.. I've seen them in Modern Combat.. Wierd... Lol

If you want to see Pics got to Sikorsky.com. They have them. But the US military has never used the ESSS Wings in real combat for misles or rockets, Just fuel tanks.

Meh, this is just from that DELICIOUS E3 preview from...nearly two years ago, I think.

The video with infantry using laser targeting on a tank, with heat distortion waves (that mirage effect) coming off the Blackhawk, and the most incredible city map I've ever seen. Cars exploding, barrels getting blown around....I love that video.

Changing the subject here, has anyone else seen that demo video? The music in it is incredible, a variation of the original Battlefield theme that blows the music in BF2 out of the water.

the graphics are tooooo cool, thats a shame they didnt put it on the final version. SO FREAKING AMAZING !

the ONLY real thing that is way way cool - is that in the demo, the jets couldnt bomb without the laser designation,
ground units are marking the target with laser, and only that way the jet pilot can lock on ! this could fit the spec-ops kit like a glove ! it would sure make me feel like a spec ops, when i designate laser targets for the aviators.
