That I manage to crash into friendly jets ALL THE TIME.  It's usually not while rearming or anything, just while making a turn and the BAM, I get a TK and a suicide.  I must have horrible luck because it just happens so frequently it's painful.  I never actually get shot down, I like to stay in the air for as long as possible, but man it gets annoying.

I think I need to relax.

Look at your mini map more. I haven't had this happend to me much. I usually get owned by stray missles hitting friendlies after missing my target, but I have learned to be much more conservative with my missles around my team. Bombing can be just as bad if you have poor aim or smoked one too many

I tend to crash into choppers, followed by a quick disconnect (my air score reflects my frquent quit after crashing). Planes ares usually going too fast, but choppers just freaking sit there, especially in Oman.

bad luck. ive never hit a friendly, and ive played a game of chase-the-tail in the air (situation where you and another friendy are trying to take down one bad guy, usually with one of you in the lead, thus, you are following his tail in a dog-fight.)

Situational Awareness, my friend. look at more than your targets.

@ Opiate   Yeap that one way to avoid friendly crashes.

@ blacksheepcannibal  More often then not I`m the lead jet with an enemy behind me and a friendly behind him.. and as luck would have it the friendly usually shoots me down while shooting the enemy behind me

i think the best mid-air collision ive had was on clean sweep...i was on USMC and we had captured all the flags and we're exterminating the MECs from the map...im flying a stolen Su-34, someone else was flying a MiG, and we had someone else in an attack chopper with a gunner.  the commander spotted an enemy APC and naturally we all fly toward it.

the other jet hit the chopper...the nose of the jet flew into me and i then exploded...the nose of my jet then landed on the APC, killing it.

it....was awesome.

but yeah, i hit friendly choppers more than jets...its always when im flying over a carrier or friendly airfield...choppers just take off without looking for passing jets and usually fly right into my path.

about the only time i blow up is when im going at a chopper and the pilot decides to throw the throttle back and fly right into me, or when im divebombing a target and i miscalculate how high i am, and i dont have enough space to pull up, or when i have both gun turrets, and 2 f-35's on me when im attacking the carrier, the f-35s are there so the enemy missles lock onto them, fly past them, curve a complete 90 degrees,  and hit me, no matter how hard im banking.

i know how you can not crash into friendly aircraft.

crash into enemy ones instead. that way you'll never have the chance to run into a friendly jet.
