I'm looking to buy a new monitor after I sold my used one and have come across a dilema. I really wanted one of those 30" beasts but those average around $1,900 which is way too much money. So I found that 24" monitors with 1920x1200 resolution can go for around $800. 20" monitors with 1680x1080 on the other hand go for under $400.
So this leaves me with an interesting situation. Do I buy two 20" monitors, which would give me a screen realestate of 3360x1080 res which will also take up a shit load of desktop space. Or should I go with the other option of getting one 24" monitor which gives me 1920x1200 total resolution. What would you guys do? It seems like the obvious choice would be dual 20's, but I'm wondering what you guys think.
