Well i have played BF2 4 about a year now and well I just moved 2 sweden from Ireland...
So i was without my pc 4 about 4 months.... I still dont have it yet and well I dont remember if BF2 was fun,
I mean i have spent like 300 hours playin this game... and when i stop playing it i realise that it is a drain on mankind....
But when i get my pc i will still play probably... coz i cant stop myself.... I got addicted i suppose... and well i dont like it...
So im going cold turkey... any1 with me? any1 at all? even when i get my pc i will see how long i can resist.

I played back in February - and took a long hiatus... basically, due to problems with patched weapons, grenade launcher, things I loved and cared about

I came back with the new patch -

and I'm LOVING it.

These prone things, anti-bunny-hopping things, more realism -

screwed weapons are FIXED again ...

AWP pisses me off- BUT - you can do the same with any sniper rifle If you're prone, a headshot *IS* a given. So don't complain ...

All INFANTRY servers ARE TEH SHIZZNAT! OMG!

Put simply,

This is BF2 ... perfected.

It's settled! I'm back in the game. I'm getting the new one when it comes out ... but I dunno - modern day will always hold a special place

*boards up doors, hoards some bawlz, and starts bustin' heads with AK101.*

If you're going cold turkey you can't come back. You're just doing a trial separation to see "how long you can resist". I went several months but it wasn't because I didn't play, yet that I couldn't.

i should stop playing BF2, seeing as im not really having much fun anymore. i kinda enjoy it while playing, but i dont feel the same desire to play like i used to. but then again, what the hell else would i do with my free time? ive been playing 2-3 hours a day for the past year, its become a habit.

Wow, you have to be congratulated for your optimism, seriously, you're the only one who isn't complaining about the list of bugs still prevalent in the newest patch. Good on you.

You know, leaving it for a few days, then coming back to it for a few hours, then waiting another few days, will improve your enjoyment of the game. And there's heaps you can do with your free time, like read, play sports, sketch, write a novel or compose some music even.
