1 Gig of ram is not enough, alt tab out of BF2 when you are playing and look in the task manager and you will see! I have 4 gig and BF2 uses uses just over 1200 megabytes of ram! Look anywhere about RAM on these forums and everyone will tell you 1 gig is not enough, 2 or more is much better! Long past are the days when 1 gig is considered a lot!
If your measurements are in degrees celcius, then turn off your computer now before permament damage occurs! my 7950's run at 63 degress under load, so you should be aiming for the same! i suggest running yuor machine with the case open or off to see if you can improve the airflow...
