Ok at school in my class we have the macs with Final Cut Pro/Express

I'm looking for video editing software for my PC, and im wondering if there is something cheaper than shelling out hundreds on Adobe Premire Pro.

I know for the cut down version of final cut its around 100 bucks, so what are my options?

I've used the $99 Ulead video editing software for PC's for many years ... it's been dumbed down (to my dissatisfaction, but I suppose this appeals to a wider audience). It was given the PC Magazine Editor's Choice this year.
