Haze cheat?

Is there a Haze hack/cheat out there , or is do I need to change my Video setting?

I was on a Sharqi Peninsula map at the MEC Helo pad. Three times the USMC Cobra gunner took out the MEC Helo from what seemed to be the roof of the TV station. I say seemed because I couldn't see that far due to the Haze.

My video settings or a Cheat?

no i can take out a heli right as where taking off of the tv station, the gunner just has to have a sense of where the helipad is

Neither. Once you fire the TV you have a clear view from the nose, so it's easily guided to far distances. I have however heard of people using low video settings to elimate haze for flying jets. They can easily see and shoot to distances most cannot.

He was probably far enough away so you couldn't see him but close enough for the tv missle to be in range.

what setting are you using? because if he used 100% drawing distance, and u are using 50%, he may was closer, but u didn't see him...

i dont know if anyone noticed this, but look at something that is hazy, that you can't see into the distance. then, turn left so that what you were looking at is on the left/right side of your screen. u see farther on the left/right side of screen. why would they do this?

I've tried setting Terrain to low, but I get black 'rips' in the terrain

This one's easy.

As squad leader - open map, right click on center of mec heli pad, issue order, close map, get in heli, fire at squad order indicator.

Now who ever did that you know that he/she created a local server and practiced that. When I fly it I count 15 secs for the pilot to spawn and 30 secs for the helo to spawn so if he/she knows where to aim and what time the helo spawns he/she has a VERY good advantige.

and you cant neccessarily say just because "OH NOT ANYMORE BECAUSE OF THE NEW PATCH ITS IMPOSSIBLE" no because the only thing you can't do in the new patch is drop vehicals on roofs anymore but you can still go inside buildings(glitch) and the RED glitch happens no matter what.

Its simply because the missile range was reduced to 450 meters from 700 or so.. so yes now its impossible to do before takeoff...

get me within 400 meters of the mec pad and that chopper will be permanantly grounded. you dont need to see it from the cockpit to kill it.
