For those who have a chorded, ball mouse, I have a small fix guide if you dont want to buy a new mouse lol
Now, there may be an easier way to fix this, but I dont know much about comps or mouses so I used probably the most "ghetto" way to fix it.
Use this guide if your mouse fits the criteria
1.Not chordless
2.Uses a ball
3.LEFT or RIGHT Click doesnt work.
Now, I had no mouses in my house that worked after the current one I used broke. However, I did have a mouse where it moved, but the only problem was that the left click didnt work. I spent mind boggling hours trying to fix it, when I noticed that by pushing the box that has the click button on it (after taking mouse cover off to reveal insides) forward, the left click would work. First, I would just lodge it as far as I could with my finger, which worked, but I would need to place the mouse cover on top so that it leaned slightly forward for the left click to still work. After getting pissed off so many times, my smart brain told me to lodge something so that the box stayed forward the whole time, so I looked around me, and saw one of those brown papers that resees cups are in laying around my desk. I took it, folded it so that it was thick enough to push the box forward, and wedged it in, wala, I didnt have to put my mouse cover on so that it had to lean forward. And it worked. However, I lost my screw for the mouse cover, but tape works fine
Plus, my mouse smells like teh chocolate now.
I drew teh diagram too!
Your mouse should look similar to this...when the cover is off, towards the top of teh mouse...
