Why are grenades not explosive ordinance in this game? They explode...Don't they work like a timed claymore, but round and throwable?
grenades are either frag or timed, on bf2 timed. They explode yes and send shrapnel everywhere, thats its main weapon. if it were to try only the explosion to kill nothing would die, its just not powerful enough.(within its boundries of course) SHrapnel is its weapon, without it grenades wouldnt do so well.
I agree 100%, but i guess Dice figured that it'd be way too easy to get the explosives ordinance badges if they counted grenades towards them.SysTray wrote:

Claymores use Shrapnel, they're explosives. Didn't I say that?Miller wrote:

come on. you really want to discuss this ? As far as EA/Dice are concerned ( and stats-wize ), grenades are not explosive ordnance. You know it. I know it. No way around it.

I actually sent a formal complaint to Dice because I feel that I'd much rather have grenade whores than Jihad Jeepers.B.Schuss wrote:
