Seriously though, if we are to delay the interactions long enough to expose the world as we know it to the energy release, it might take more than a model shot of Jolie. You figure that these interactions have been taking place for a long time. The interactions take place in such a short time that the frequency of occurrence must be infinitesimal. Therefore, we can deduce that these interactions haven't been stunned/distracted enough by anything produced on the Earth so far.
Conclusion: We need a better distraction.
Anyone got any fresh ideas as to what it would take?
