i was about to buy this mobo along with a conroe chip until i read gigabyte's memory support list and for the 667mhz ram and it didnt list corsair. what gives? any one running this combo problem free?

it doesnt make since that it would support the 800 and 533 but not the 667.

Dude... That list is a list of memory types that have been tested in the board and works....
Generally speaking you can go out and by a noname block and it will usually work.

My guess is that the 666.6 Mhz ram will work. They just haven't tested it !
