hey guys i was looking through some mobos and all the conroe capable mobos dont say is they are sli only say crossfire, my question is can this run sli???

Not exactly true.

Their are hacked drivers out there to run SLI on 975x Chipset boards.  Just no official support.

If you are going Conroe go for the Gigabyte GA-965P-DS4.

Why not just buy a better gfx card so you dont have to worry about SLI/Crossfire. I bought a 7900GTX 512mb as was able to go with an ASUS P5B Deluxe board for my Conroe E6600

it would be sweet if u could have an ATi x1900 512mb with an Nvidia 7900GT/X 512mb eunning in slifire(sli+crossfire)
