i bought the game at store not to long ago and 1.4 i sthe patch please help please

those other weapons I think your talking about are available with the purchase of special forces, which then must be unlocked according to your rank, Euro forces also has a different weapon set which can only be had in the 3 euro forces maps.
The special forces unlocks can only be used in regular bf2 or vanilla for short.
So your game is up to date as it can be before you buy the expansion pack or any of the booster packs, you will be able to find more information on this subject by either searching or going directly to EA's site which is http://www.ea.com/official/battlefield/ … s/home.jsp
By the way unless you have a server you dont want the server download.

Ok, it hurts your finger tips to search so, There are two unlocks per kit. The unlocks that come with the game is Tier one (unluck one), seven unlocks total. These unlocks come with the game. Tier 2 (2nd unlock) comes when you buy Special forces Seven additional unlocks making a total of 14. ALL UNLOCKS ARE AVAILABLE ONLY WHEN YOU RANK UP. You can unlock one weapon at a time per RANK UP. You can unlock two weapons at A time if you have Special Forces EXPANSION DISK (usually sold seperately from BF2).
The Tier one unlocks work in both BF2 and its expansion Special Forces. The Tier 2 unlocks work only for BF2.
Look at the top of the screen and click on "UBAR" for the unlocks and ranks and all the other neat stuff for BF2. Go to wiki and read up. Take some time to read this stuff, itll help you not get humiliated on open servers.
