BF2S Forums Reason why you love Infantry Only mode? (IF you hate it don't post)

I dont know, I think its more skilled than Non-IO servers.

I could live perfectly fine without heli because if I want to use them I head to a normal server.

Also not having arty on yourself 24/7 is one good thing. It was anoying that either my commander or the enemies commander always wanted to nuke ME down with arty wherever I was. Like I was a magnet or something.

Also you get bigger chance of being command and being in combat at the same time. I have choosen the commander now and then and helped out in combat pretty good while I cast UAV when it's over.

Also anyone notice how much less the votekicking againts commander is in IO ?

No armored junk around that keeps killing me.

I like it because it provides a change of pace...I cna't play it all the time because I get bored, but when I get tired of spawning and being blown up by a jet I can play IO were everyone is on an even playing field then got back to a regular map.

On Jalalabad everyone is Sniper because USMC can't get out of the base and take other flags because of it(Unless they all rush one flag which they should do but never do except in some rare cases.) but normally I see most Support/Medics running around and some snipers here and there but they ain't so bad if you keep moving around.

Also I notice some people play Assault kit more and that's a good thing, otherwise this kit is a waste of time on the normal servers. Imo because they rarely get much point.

Also one more thing I like with this mode is that you don't see a commander sitting in a Chopper/Airplane/Tank/APC somewhere on the map where no one will go. Or flying around in a airplane and can't put out UAV and supply box where people need them.

I like the change of pace.  Karkand especially is like a P&K server on Crack!  'nades everywhere, medics running around like chickens with their heads cut off.  Personnally, I think the most intense battles I've ever seen are Karkand infantry only.  Great stuff.  Its almost like two different games.  I can do different things depending on my mood!

The only reason people like IO is because of stats.  "I can get a good K/D ratio and high points now omg w00t LOL STATS GOOD JOB EA <3 1!!!11!!!eleventyone!11!!!!1!1!111!!BBQ!!!!!!"

Instead of artillery blowing your ass a thousand feet in the air, you have a constant artillery of grenades demolishing everything in its path.  Not to mention the 5 medics trying to heal you while grenades are landing in the pile of dead bodies; so a 12 second respawn turns into a minute, (until every medic in your team got hit by the grenade spam).  Hence, why there are a lot of snipers... pluck the cockjobs off spamming grenades.

More skilled players on IO. Any fool can hop in a tank and spawn kill and shit. it is a sniper fest and nade lovers mode yes, but its much better as ya have a choice of the preferred mode ya want. dont like IO? then dont play it simple as that.
